Mission Statement
Maestro & Magic Productions is a new and emergent non-profit theater entertainment company created by magician Jeff Black and composer/music director Ryan Luévano. Our goal as producers is to create a company that works to create stimulating productions to serve the diverse audiences of Los Angeles. Within our company we also strive to provide jobs/opportunities for musicians, and theatrical performers in a time when careers in the arts are dwindling. It is also in our agenda to serve our local communities through free workshops and concerts in hospitals, schools and convalescent homes. This mission is based on a belief that through theater’s combination of drama, poetry, music, ritual, and visual arts it is, “the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being” (Oscar Wilde).

A MUSICAL WITHIN A MAGIC SHOW is a show where audiences will not only get a dazzling magic show filled with optical illusions and mesmerizing feats, but also the drama, adventure and excitement of a live musical. The drama in this show takes place in present-day LA and ultimately aboard the "Splendor Cruise Ship" where our recently unemployed hero Jack goes on a magic cruise and encounters the love of his life and magical assistant Jill. Through this, he learns just how powerful both love and magic can be. This live stage musical and magical production will take place at the Sierra Madre Playhouse on:
